Meredith Kercher Murder Case -

The first pretrial hearing has taken place today in Perugia. Sollecito did not attend, but Diya Lumumba was there. Judge Paolo Micheli conducted a closed court.

Nick Pisa is in Perugia: He starts with a face-off angle, the anticipated confrontation between Amanda Knox and the Kercher family; then ends strong with a newly-released recording of Sollecito's 911 call on 1 Nov:

"Hello, someone has broken into the house through a window and made a real mess. There is also a locked door. There are signs, there is blood in the bathroom. Also one of the doors is shut, it's the room of one of the flatmates. We have tried calling her on the phone but there is no answer."
