Popcorn Juries -

Since much of the American trial-watching public has been following the Jody Arias trial, the upcoming Amanda Knox interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC TV is going to seem like a pale sequel in comparison. ABC has been running teasers lately to promote their exclusive.

"Arias initially denied involvement then later blamed it on masked intruders. Two years after her arrest, she said it was self-defense."

Contrasting sharply with the newly emerging twists and turns in the Arias trial, the public face of Amanda Knox is mostly the creation of a press agent and is expected to spout mostly fluffy drivel.

An Arias courtroom seat recently sold for
$200, according to the AP's Brian Skoloff.
