SISTANI DEPUTY CANCELS FRI PRAYERS

Friday prayers at the shrine of Imam Hussein in Karbala have been cancelled because of the threat of fighting between US forces and militiamen of the radical Shiite cleric Moqtada Sadr.

Prayers in Kufa and Najaf look iffy to doubtful
at this time.
