THE IQ CARETAKERS: *Lakhdar Brahimi is due to announce by Monday the makeup of the caretaker government, a key step in U.S. plans to hand over authority to the Iraqis. A U.N. official, however, said the final list might be delayed until later next week.

Brahimi is helping work out who will serve as president, prime minister, two vice presidents and 26 Cabinet ministers...*

"I think he's a nice guy, and I'm not going to elaborate on this because he's a candidate and I should not do this," Ghazi Mashal Ajil al-Yawer told reporters.

Who HE? Hussain al-Shahristani, a nuclear scientist, said to be close to Grand Ayatollah Sistani is currently being considered a candidate for PM.
