SADR VS KUBBANJI: Supporters of Moqtada al-Sadr drowned out Sheikh Sadreddin Kubbanji with pro-Sadr chants until he gave in and cut short his sermon at the Ali Mausoleum, one of the holiest shrines in Shiite Islam.

Last Friday, gunmen attempted to assassinate Kubbanji.
