FCC CHIEF STEPS DOWN -

Michael Powell has resigned. An atronomically increasing barrage of male performance enhancement drugs and a finicky obsession with pastie ornaments distinguished his strange tenure at the agency.

The combination was troubling and leaves perplexing questions unresolved: viz; how did our broadcasting airwaves come to be so flooded with male sex chemicals, especially at dinnertime?

*Powell has praised the record fines, saying the commission was 'wielding our sword' to protect children and viewers who object to racy programming.*

But, seemingly and in stark contrast, racy commercials are just fine.

Go figure.
