Just when you thought
it was safe to go out . . .

Mandoah "Manny" Ebaid,
the Egyptian proprietor of
the Exotic Bites restaurant
in Hollywood, Florida, has been
spotted on a terrorism watch list.

He is currently being held at the
Krome Detention Center west of Miami.

Many of his associates believe there
must be a mix-up of names on the list.

I haven't been to his restaurant.

+ Seen on American TV this past week: Mithal Alousi, the Iraqi who attended a terrorism conference in Israel and got a lot of flack for it from some suspect quarters.

He made a very good impression. He seemed like a very level-headed guy with sensible judgement. And he came across as remarkably sane.
