The UK Times has been all over the 7/7 story. They have devoted extensive coverage to various aspects of it. This article gives us a rare but intriguing glimpse into one of MI5's working methods for putting the pieces of the puzzle together:

*Inside MI5’s headquarters overlooking the River Thames in Westminster, the vast open-plan operations room stretches along most of one wing. Last week plasma screens, whiteboards and maps dotted the room.

Officers were drawing up "I2 Anacapa" charts: specialist diagrams used to build up a coherent picture from the flood of information produced by an investigation.*
