Babar Ahmad, a 31-year-old computer whiz and mechanical engineer, is in a British prison fighting extradition to the US.

*His case shows how a well-educated engineer operating in London could allegedly use the Web to project a message of Islamic extremism to a global audience.*

This is a rather long report by Craig Whitlock at the WaPo. So far, the first page looks like it's very good. I'm going to try to return to read more of it later on-- memo to myself.
