Raysan Zayady, a sports jacket over his white dishdasha and sheer summer robe... had yet to read the draft constitution, although he clutched one of the newly distributed copies in his hand. "I don't have e-mail," he confessed.*

This is a nicely descriptive and somewhat atmospheric dispatch by Ellen Knickmeyer, but she never asked the basic question: how many of them read? She shouldn't have made any casual presumptions.
