This is one in a sporadic series of cited articles and essays which explore semantic manipulation and how we think about what we think which I present to readers in order to raise their consciousness about this issue.

What will probably happen with this, is that American comedians will probably have a party with it and ridicule it into oblivion.

enough to understand.

On a more serious note, this is an attempt to shift responsibility for criminal behavior onto someone else, quite similar to the plea that the rape victim is responsible for being assaulted because she wore a blue dress.
