MALICIOUS PROSECUTION -

*In a statement issued on Saturday, the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists, CPJ, expressed deep concern about the detention of Rabah al-Quwai, who works for the Okaz and Shams dailies and two Saudi-run websites.*

+ He was criticizing the behavior of some individual human beings who were using religion as a pretext to abuse others by demanding impossibly high standards from them. Clearly, he was not criticizing Islamic beliefs or the Moslem religion. The allegation is false and without foundation, and, therefore, Mr al-Quwai should be released by the Saudi authorities.
