EYE IN THE SKY -

The Israeli Eros B satellite was launched from a mobile pad at the Svobodny cosmodrome at 8:47 p.m. (1647 GMT)... the satellite can hover above Iranian nuclear facilites and launch sites and transmit photographs of any changes that occur in those sites... its level of resolution will allow Israel to gather information on Iran's nuclear program and its long-range missiles, which are capable of striking Israel, said a senior defense official.
