The Manhattan DA is in the process of resolving a settlement with the Bank of America in the case reported yesterday [see below] for dealing with an unlicensed money transmitter in Uraguay. He shut down an account from a shadowy outfit called Lespan in Montevideo whose funds seemed to be flowing into suspected terrorist accounts in the Middle East.

Sounds like the ingredients
of a prospective thriller.
