If newspapers get any smaller, you'll have to read them with a magnifying glass.

Publicly owned newspapers, most of which are handsomely profitable, blame Wall Street for the dinkification, saying the stock market punishes newspaper companies when their publications don't earn the accustomed 20-plus percent profit margin.

Although the John S and James L Knight Foundation ostensibly supports projects such as New Voices, we are not likely to experience any benefits thereof in the forseeable future here in SoFlo.

The new McClatchy Era is just going to give us a website with a more local "flavor."

Both The Miami Herald and the other local newspaper edited by Colonel Blimp still seem to be dragging their feet as far as the Internet is concerned.
