*A group of media organizations is seeking to unseal the documents used to arrest John Mark Karr.

The application to open the arrest warrant and the arrest warrant affidavit argues that the public has the right to know why Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy believed there was probable cause to believe Karr killed JonBenet Ramsey...

Of particular interest is whether Lacy has forensic evidence tying Karr to the crime scene and whether she has evidence placing Karr in Boulder on Christmas night 1996, the organizations said.

Lacy opposes the effort to unseal the documents at this time.*
