two new non-fiction books
with a foreign twist:

# Sarah Chayes, who grew up in Cambridge, Mass, and worked for NPR, has published a new book based on her experience working in Afghanistan where she eventually resigned from her radio job to help run Afghans for Civil Society. Her book is called: The Punishment of Virtue.

# John Brady Kiesling, a former diplomat and author of the newly published book Diplomacy Lessons, tells the story of his "failure to prevent a Florida con man from bilking the government of Romania out of $250,000;" among other things.
