"Muslims pledge to ruin Straw."

It seems like almost every evening on the TV news these days we see gangs of thugs wearing kerchiefs covering much of their faces smash into jewelry stores or gun shops, grab some merchandise, and flee. Is this a new form of Reality TV entertainment? No. As surveillance cameras become more widespread, more activities like these criminal smash-and-grabs become available for viewing. Yet, I still associate such scarf-wrapped faces with the Olympic event when Arab terrorists took over our TV screens.

As I remember them, these laws were originally introduced in parts of the U.S. because members of the Ku Klux Klan tried to demonstate while wearing their ghostly outfits with masks to prevent the public and law enforcement from identifying them.

Clearly then, this is not a religious issue, but, rather, a Homeland Security issue.
