Two car bombs exploded yesterday in the religiously mixed area of Ur in northern Baghdad, killing 20 people and wounding 17, an interior ministry source said. One of the blasts went off near a market.

The undersecretary of the Iraqi Interior Ministry for Intelligence Affairs Lieutenant-General Rashid Fleih said Tuesday that a separate Counter-Terrorism Agency had been created in Iraq. Speaking at a news conference, Fleih said it's going to answer directly to the Iraqi Interior Ministry.
