SUMMIT MEETING -

A meeting of Iraqi Sunni and Shia leaders is scheduled for Friday in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which aims to quell the spiralling sectarian violence in Iraq.

It is being held under the auspices of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.
