SUITCASES OF CASH -

Palestinian PM Haniyah was prevented from entering the Gaza Strip at the Rafah crossing Thursday while he was trying to carry millions of dollars in cash across the border.

A deal was eventually made which allowed him to enter Gaza, but without the money.

*The Egyptian intelligence chief, Omar Suleiman, then arranged for Haniyeh to leave the money in the port city of El-Arish with two Hamas officials, who will escort it to the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.*
