About 150 employees were briefly evacuated from the New York City headquarters newsroom of The Associated Press on West 33rd St Tuesday afternoon when a staffer opened an envelope containing an unknown white powder. The substance was tested and found to be harmless, Executive Editor Kathleen Carroll said.
