Almost a $.5 million in counterfeit designer goods were confiscated by the Sheriff's Office from the Cinderella Shoe shop in Margate, Broward County.

This used to be done by private investigators working for the license entity in order to protect their business. But, increasingly, Law Enforcement has become concerned that it could be related somehow to other forms of counterfeiting activity which are associated with terrorist groups.

Hamman Kahwaji was arrested
and then freed on $10,000 bond.
