from Mullah Omar ~

DATELINE PESHAWAR: The elusive Taliban chief Mullah Omar who used to ride a motorscooter around Kandahar with only one eye and absolutely no depth perception whatsoever, is not so elusive anymore, now that He's Got Mail!

And, by the way, he says
he hasn't seen Osama lately.

But didn't Osama marry one of
his daughters? Inquiring minds
want to know...

Mullah Omar says what's on his mind right now is that he just wants American Military Forces out of Afghanistan.

And, even though he is believed to be currently lurking somewhere around the Khyber Pass, he insists that he has not bumped into OBL lately. Not at all, whatsoever... no no no.

Hamid Mir, who is somewhat of a cognoscente on matters Osama & Omar is flabbergasted. Or maybe he's feeling left out of the loop.

Mir says, based on information he's derived from interviews and sources in the region, he's convinced that Omar & Osama have been in touch during the past two years.

So, it's He Said vs He Said.
And who are we to believe?

Now that Mullah Omar has discovered E-Mail, there's probably no shutting him up anytime soon. Perhaps he will reveal more when he takes up Blogging.
