ALAS, BAGHDAD...
sometimes in pidjin english...
you speakee the linggee?

IraqSlogger cites some folksy
definitions and descriptions
of Iraq which include:

*May refer to anything that is in a messy, unstable or screwed-up state... such as hangovers.*

Looks like confusion with a wreck.

Here's a really sardonic description:

*A country the US is committed to liberating, even if they have to kill every last man, woman and child in it to do it. The people of Iraq were given freedom. They chose to elect the same type of radical muslim filth they always do, so the US had to liberate them again. This time they kept on liberating them until they were all dead.*

The decapitated corpses of two Iraqi employees of Al Sabah newspaper were discovered Sunday in the northwestern Azamiyah district of Baghdad following their abduction Saturday evening in the al-Solaikh district when they left work. Another Al Sabah correspondent was killed over the weekend in Anbar province.

And, lastly, Amer Mohsen
surveys the Iraqi, Arabphonic,
and Pan-Arab Media this weekend.
