Jamil Hussein:
FAKE BUT REAL -

The latest information to emerge out of the hunt for the elusive Iraqi police officer is that the name "Jamil Hussein" is a pseudonym being used by a real Iraqi police officer.

Source: Bill Costlow of CPATT (Civilian Police Assistance Training Team) in Baghdad, transmitted to some concerned bloggers by Lt Michael Dean of Multinational Corps-Iraq/Joint Operations Command Public Affairs.

It appears that Associated Press may have violated its own standards and practices by using a pseudonym without identifying it as such. But it is also possible that AP didn't know it was a pseudonym.

Looks like, no movie, boys and girls! The show is over; the monkey's dead; so, go,
sue them...
