McClatchy, which owns the Miami Herald newspaper, has bought Fresno Famous and its sister website, Modesto Famous, according to Tish Grier at Poynter [via BuzzMachine].

Fresno Famous is a hyper-local portal
started by 26-year-old Jarah Euston.
