Itai Polatnick's bail was dropped by the judge at his hearing today. Instead, he has acquired a GPS device.

The 23-year-old Polatnick will be released some time this evening from the Turner Guilford Knight correctional facility into the custody of his longtime girlfriend's grandparents house in Southwest Miami-Dade. Girlfriend Yazmin Gonzalez is a student at FSU in Tallahassee.

Until his May trial date, Polatnick will be under house arrest, his activities limited, and a GPS device attached to his ankle.
