SoFlo:
BROWARD BRIEFS - and
for others, only if you dare...
# BINNED BODY: Construction workers in Lauderdale Lakes discovered a badly decomposed body deposited in a trash bin at the Woodsdale Oaks apartment complex Monday afternoon. It was taken to the ME's Office and later identified as that of a 26-year-old woman, who was reported missing by relatives on January 22nd and last seen on January 20th.
# PROLIFERATING MALLS: Developers will submit a proposal to the Davie Town Council Wednesday night to build a "massive" shopping mall in their community. There is already one vacant shopping mall in western Hollywood, but never mind that. Whenever they get tired of one mall down here, they just build another. They did not disclose where their water would come from, but pretty soon visitors to SoFlo probably will be required to bring their own water tanker with them. You know you want to.
# PARKING SCHEME: Tourists frequenting Las Olas Boulevard shops may spend more than they expect if they park on a neighborhood side street. Fort Lauderdale city commissioners will vote on restricted parking north of Las Olas with violators to be ticketed $30. Unless it's a water tanker truck, in which case, it probably will be stolen from you.
