Prosecutors say that a 43-year-old hedge fund manager in Connecticut pretended to be his former 36-year-old mistress when he posted an advertisement on an Internet bondage site seeking someone to abduct and rape her.

The ad listed details such as a description of her car, her address, appearance, usual spot on the train platform each morning, and other personal information.

A man answered the fake ad and called the woman. She was terrified and called police.
