# The RAND thinktank conducted a conference on "Creative Use of the Media for Tolerance and Understanding" recently in Doha, Qatar, which Mahmood blogs an outstanding entry about. I am very pleased that RAND did this project. It's something they can always be proud of having accomplished.

# But around the same time, Mahmood particpates in a Kuwaiti videotaped-for-TV discussion about Blogging and the authorities there refuse to broadcast the videotape... and no one seems to know why.

Kuwait: Are Bloggers Such a Threat? The TV program was called Diwaniya on which Blogging was being discussed. Go figure!
