# A truck bomb was exploded on al-Sarafiya bridge over the Tigris river during the morning rush hour Thursday, which connects two northern Baghdad neighborhoods: Azamiyah, a mostly Sunni enclave, and Bab al-Muazam, a mixed area. The blast partially destroyed the structure and sent several cars tumbling into the water below. Reuters reports that one of its steel girders has collapsed.
