Todd Wright reports that Hollywood City Attorney Dan Abbott is expected to resign and then go to work for the law firm which represents the city's developer quango.

"I think it's a good move for Dan. I personally like Dan. We disagreed on some things, but he represented Hollywood well," City Commissioner Cathy Anderson said.

Locals have a nickname for Hollywood;
they refer to it as Chinatown.

Maybe there's something in the water there...
