Rodney Wright has filed a NIMBY action to halt the establishment of a mosque in his Pompano Beach neighborhood which includes allegations that the mosque leader, Hassan Sabri, has associated with terrorist groups. [ap/spt]

Altaf Ali, executive director of the South Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations [aka CAIR], which is also named as a defendant in the suit said:

"I look at this as an act of religious intimidation."

Altaf Ali told the FBI on Wednesday that he
has received a death threat in the mail. [sent]
