The gas situation is having quite an effect on Florida authors, but bookstores are gearing up with Hi-Tech adaptations. This should keep the Geeks busy this summer installing the necessary paraphernalia.

Lisa Unger, for example, is "visiting" a bookstore in Connecticut via Speaker Phone for the debut of her new psychological thriller Black Out.

Looks like this is going to be a trend for a while.
