CentCom Commander Gen David Petraeus has met with the military and political leadership of the NWFP on a visit there to discuss the war against terrorism. His visit included a meeting with NWFP Gov Owais Ahmed Ghani at Governor's House in Peshawar on Tuesday. Then Gen Petraeus journeyed on to take a firsthand look at the war in Afghanistan.

Early Tuesday before dawn, two rockets were fired at the Peshawar Airport, police said. One of the rockets damaged a runway.

Meanwhile, people are wondering why fugitive cult leader Osama Bin Laden didn't issue a tape in time for the U.S. election as he did four years ago.

Maybe he was spooked
by Gen Petraeus visiting the area.
