Someone has placed freshly cut flowers and two votive candles near the house on Pergola St where a year ago the British student was murdered. But there are no cards. It was a gray, overcast and rainy day on Saturday in Perugia. The flowers were placed along the road in front of the fence of the cottage; the grounds around it seem a bit unkempt these days. [ansa]
