Meredith Kercher Murder Case -

I earnestly hope that in the future, lawyers for the Kercher Family can protect them from people like this. It's bad enough that Meredith was butchered to death, but now her family is being subjected to additional pain and suffering from people who are trying to exploit them for their own louche glorification.

The Hearst Corporation - no stranger to controversy throughout its history - is currently playing host to the latest turn of this particular screw: their website is the residence of the first chapter of a book, a blog, and a campaign by a Kercher Family Stalker who can be seen creepily haunting the background of news photographs, adding to the Kercher Family's grief by following them around.

The book is called Murder in Italy. Murder???

The conviction of Amanda Knox is more comparable to a manslaughter conviction than to a conviction for murder.

At the top of the list of many things which bother me about this case is the incessant campaign by the Brand Amanda Promotional Machine to replace Meredith Kercher, the real victim in this case, with Knox constantly being depicted as the victim.

This book is being featured as an "Amanda book."

Amanda Knox was given a relatively light sentence. Her family should be grateful for that and just get on with their lives already.
