Up in Smoke -

Tobacco smokers in New York City will be paying more for a pack of cigarettes than for a dime bag of Heroin from July 1 onward.

This embraces a marketing strategy of Big Pharma to pressure smokers to switch to patented tobacco substitutes, although some smokers may end up on anti-depressant drugs.

One of the more tragic side effects of their agenda has been the near destruction of the American newspaper industry.

Will this move reduce New York City's tourist business? Will there be a substantial exodus of their population? Will their suicide rate rise? Will cigarette-related violent crime increase?
