Daisy Khan and her

Iftar dinner last night hosted by Mayor Bloomberg.

Late yesterday afternoon, toward the end of my surfing session, I came across an interview with Ground Zero Mosque developer Sharif El-Gamal written by Dana Rubenstein at the NYO. Although it's a charming story, I would suggest you take it with a grain of salt.

No, it's quite definable: The ruins of
Old Coventry Cathedral "remain hallowed ground."

On the evening of November 14, 1940, in a Blitz bombing raid coded-named Operation Moonlight Sonata (Mondscheinsonate), Coventry Cathedral was set on fire for the first time. Ultimately, it was left in ruins. Although a new cathedral was built nearby, the ruins of the old cathedral still stand today.
