This is a List of Florida's Weirdest Stories from the past year (in two screen pages) which was compiled by the AP organization.

Similarly memorable in a local context - just off the top of my head - was the story about a spectacular daytime raid conducted on a Home Depot store by a pair of transvestites, which I blogged about just after it happened.
