SOTTO VOCE -
As you know, I've been down with a bad case of the flu, so I slept most of the weekend and drank lots of pink lemonade, hoping to flush that stuff out of my system. While I can't honestly say that I'm "tan, rested, and ready for action" just yet, I'm going to try to do a bit of catch-up this session.
Kathy Kinsley has a couple of good Catches
over at her On The Third Hand weblog:
#1) *Why hasn't Osama bin Laden's terror network executed an attack on U.S. soil since 9-11?
...the Bush administration has identified the potential of wiping Mecca off the map as bin Laden's ultimate point of vulnerability...*
The foregoing is from a short piece at WND that makes for some interesting reading.
#2) The Disenchanted American - Are we growing world-weary?
This is the title of a good quality essay by Victor Davis Hanson.
