HEINOUS CHOICES -
SoFlo Local --
Salman Rushdie who is the target of a still-active Contract Murder is scheduled to address graduating students of Nova University in early May ceremonies.
Farheen Parvez, a graduating student official in the International Muslim Association at NSU, has not expressed an objection to Contract Murder, but objects to the Rushdie selection as an insult to Muslims. She plans to boycott the ceremonies.
The university administration says they selected Rushdie as a component of NSU's yearlong study theme exploring Good
and Evil.
The Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran issued a fatwa for the homicide of Rushdie which has never been revoked; instead the fatwa was farmed out to a foundation which still holds the contract and continues to insist that it remains active.
The Muslim students and their supporters are scheduled to meet with the university's administration today, asking for the replacement of Rushdie.
Murder-by-Contract is illegal in the U.S. where it is viewed as one of the most heinous categories of Homicide.
