THE SEARCH FOR
JAMIL HUSSEIN:
Casting the Movie -
Eason Jordan of IraqSlogger says: The Jamil Hussein Fuss is not over, lessons must be learned by all involved, and lingering questions must be answered.
And don't forget the movie, Eason!
In this movie about the search for Jamil Hussein, David Suchet can reprise his character from the movie Live from Baghdad in which he did such a fantastic job.
But this movie, in contrast, will have a more panoramic sweep as the characters move through the maze-like city of Baghdad over a landscape of burnt-out buildings and smoldering urban ruins in a danger-filled cat-and-mouse chase after the elusive Iraqi police captain amidst enigmatic coded messages sporadically being called out mysteriously from its minarets.
Here are some proposed
featured players so far:
David Suchet:
Iraqi Police Capt Jamil Hussein;
Horatio Sanz plays:
Muqtada al Sadr;
Christopher Walken:
a Baghdad News Bureau Chief;
Ellen Barkin:
a star foreign correspondant.
