Mohammed al-Ghabra, whose bank accounts have been frozen by the Bank of England has been designated by the American government as someone "who provides material and logistical support to Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organisations."

Al-Ghabra, a naturalized British citizen who was born in Syria, lives in Forrest Gate, East London. Last month his home was raided by Scotland Yard’s counterterrorist command.
