BACKHOE ATM BANDIT -

This is a quintessentially South Florida kind of crime because it's a byproduct of the intense real estate development activity here. There have been numerous other incidents like this latest one in which thieves steal construction equipment to haul off their loot.

*Surveillance video from the bank showed... a backhoe appearing in the frame with a man behind the wheel. He uses the backhoe to scoop up the ATM. And then the cameras go out.*
