There are an unusually high number of transvestites living in the area around Fort Lauderdale. I've bumped into groups of them while shopping at the supermarkets. Once in while, one of them pops up in the news while engaged in some form of transgressive behavior, but it is difficult to put out an accurate BOLO description on them because of this complicating factor.
