On Friday afternoon five bomb blasts exploded in Varanasi, Lucknow and Faizabad in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The explosives seem to have been packed on parked bicycles in the vacinity of court complexes.

*A little known group called the Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility. The group apparently sent an email to a private TV channel just five minutes before the blasts... The email says the Jihad in India is in retaliation against the injustice to Muslims in India.*
