Frank at Perugia Shock blog has posted a new entry based on his visit to the court in Perugia at the time of the hearing. It looks like Frank expects an "official" report from this hearing to be printed out and distributed in the near future.

Until then, it appears that Mez's blood sample used to determine alcohol level somehow got contaminated for the do-over test. Keep in mind: just because one lab technician made a mistake on one test sample, doesn't invalidate everything else.

Frank mentions Joe Tacopina. I believe JoeT's role will be to rescue Amanda Knox in the event she gets convicted and sentenced to a prison term over there.

If that happens, I believe that JoeT will try to get her transferred to an American prison to serve out her sentence. And, if and when he accomplishes that, he will then get her sprung out of jail, maybe with the claim that the Italian process was not up to American standards. Just my opinion at the moment.
