How much TV is too much?
I think I've been watching too much TV during my involuntary hiatus from the Internet when I found myself watching shows which I'm not particularly interested in; that either gives me highway hypnosis and puts me to sleep or it makes me restless. Be that as it may, there is some good stuff on the tube occasionally.
Case in point: Skeptical Bystander has posted a link to a video capture from The View which features a segment with guest Nancy Grace. I sometimes catch segments of this program, but didn't catch this one. Grace is discussing the murder of Meredith Kercher.
This weekend is Super Bowl Sunday, a major Video Holiday in the US. If you haven't stocked up on snacks already, you may discover sparse pickings in the stores soon.
Every year in advance of the Super Bowl, retailers claim they sell lots of Jumbo TV screens and other fancy video contraptions, including Plasma, LCD, HD, etc. This year here in SoFlo there have been several major robberies at these retailers, which may be linked to this video event.
The thieves went about their nefarious activity very methodically. Using a heavy-duty vehicle like an SUV or some kind of truck, they pulled the steel shutters off the doors to the establishments and made off with the goods.
This weekend, the network Saturday Night Movie offering is scheduled to be Anchorman, which is a comedy about a TV newscaster. I've seen it twice and I enjoyed it. If you're not into sports, at least you've got Ron Burgundy :-)

Is the TV Guide Brand worth saving?
And, if so, how would you go about reviving it?
